Bougainville Launches New Youth Policy

Today was a special day for youths across Bougainville as they joined the world in commemorating International Youth Day for the first time.

Apart from the commemoration, the region also launched its first-ever Youth Policy.

The event was held at Belisi Park in Buka town.

The event was hosted by the Bougainville Youth Federation under the Autonomous Bougainville Government’s Department of Community Development, supported by the Bougainville Partnership Office under the Australian Aid. The day began with a march around Buka town.
